Aerial view of the Bay looking SW. Pre 1930
An aerial photograph, showing the Bay looking SW. This was possibly taken between the two wars and shows steady development of properties along both Granville Road and The Droveway.
The effects of beach erosion is apparent as the sea creeps ever closed to the houses on the beach. It can be seen just how useful the groynes are in helping to prevent the eastward drift of shingle.
