St Margaret's Bay from Ness Point. c1920
A panoramic view looking NE from The Ness. The garden of The Green Man is gradually becoming overgrown. The new looking property just above is named The Edge was at The Ideal Home Exhibition of 1923 and was dismantled and rebuilt here.
The small square building at the head of the middle groyne is the cable station carrying the communications cable from France. With the Dover Patrol Memorial faintly visible, this image can be dated as the mid 1920’s.
