Small sandstone cruciform headstone
Grave 503 in grid square N13.
The 3 masted barque ‘Northfleet’, laden with railway equipment and emigrants outbound for Hobart, Tasmania, was run down and sunk by the Spanish steamer ‘Murillo’ which made off without stopping to render assistance.
