HMS Nubian's remains (3)
HMS Nubian as part of the Dover patrol was torpedoed in 1916 during battle with German torpedo boats and driven under the cliffs at St Margaret’s Bay. The afterpart of the ship was salvaged but the rest of the forepart left under the cliffs.
The photographs are taken to be the steam cylinder from the ship and is approximately 10-12 feet in length.
