This image taken from ‘Wonderful Britain’ part 19 (but undated) shows the lower South Foreland Lighthouse, engine house, keeper’s cottages and testing gallery. The photograph is likely to date to pre 1922 when the engine house and cottages were sold at auction.
‘Wonderful Britain’ was a journal published in the 1920’s featuring articles and photographs about the great sites of Britain.
