This stained glass window was dedicated on Mothering Sunday 27th March 1960 in connection with the Octocentenary celebrations. It was the gift of Mrs VIOLET MARY McCREDIE (2nd January 1894 – 10 April 2003)
This window may be found in the south aisle of St Margaret’s church.

My late Grandmother always told me that she had commissioned this window in celebration of the baptisms of her granddaughters.
This was donated by my late Great Grandmother. She was 109 when she died. I would love to see it again and show my children
