The windows at the East End of this Chancel / have been erected to the Glory of God and in / memory of JAMES TEMPLE of Cliffe House / of this Parish by his old Pupils and Friends / in token of their high appreciation / of his Character / Born March 21st 1802 Died September 26th 1871 /
This plaque may be found on the northern wall of the chancel of St Margaret’s Church.
