Opening of Queen Victoria Wing at Morley House. May 1898
Typed transcript of an article from Dover Express dated 8 April 1898 with information about the Queen Victoria wing added to the Morley House Convalescent Home for Working Men.
A preliminary visit had taken place and the new wing was due to be opened in May by the Lord High Chancellor of England.
The National Archives hold documents applying for permission to use the Queen’s name for this new extension.
