Reach Court Farm under enemy fire. 1942
Another version of the article, thought to be from the Daily Express, reporting the work at Reach Court Farm this time emphasising farming under fire from cross Channel gun batteries and also strafing aircraft. Gilbert Mitchell is the farmer and his wife and sister-in-law are his assistants. Gilbert is awarded the George Medal and the ladies the B.E.M.
