Pine Edge, Bay Hill, section of flint wall in the garden. 2002
A section of a flint wall in the garden of Pine Edge, Bay Hill. Handwritten text on the mount reads ‘Pine Edge garden, 2002, found behind a shed hidden by ivy’. The broken portion of carved stone incorporated in this wall is stylistically identical to a similar piece that can be seen in the wall fronting the High Street below the church yard and bearing the date 1885.
