St Margaret's Bay from Ness Point. after 1928
This sepia postcard, published in Madge’s Photo Series (of the Village Post Office and Stores, St. Margaret’s-at-Cliffe) and numbered 2, is of the Bay and inland. The photograph is taken from the cliff top path visible in the foreground and to the south of the Bay, which no longer exists.
The obelisk referred to is the Dover Patrol Memorial which can be seen on the right above the cliffs.
The amount of development and the memorial supports a date since 1928.
