Aerial view of South Foreland cliffs from the sea. Undated
From the Gordon Denoon album two undated photographs taken of St Margaret’s from the air.
The first photograph is of the cliffs and Leas to the south-west of St Margaret’s Bay. The South Foreland Lighthouse can be seen and to it’s immediate right the South Foreland estate. The village of St Margaret’s at Cliffe can be seen in the background.
The second photograph was taken from the north-east and shows both the Bay settlement and St Margaret’s at Cliffe. The pylons at Swingate near Dover can just be discerned in the background
