Taken from the Gordon Denoon album.
A series of photographs taken in 1926 of Gordon’s family and friends on St Margaret’s Bay beach.
Alec Reid is a family friend, Tommie is Gordon’s wife and Joan, who is 3 1/2 in these photographs, is the daughter of Gordon and Tommie.
In the album the caption to the second photograph reads:- ‘At extra low tide: Joan straddles one of the cross-channel telegraph cables. On the right the raft is just in sight and in the background is Excelsoir (sic)’
