Cliffe House Academy and Cliffe Hotel; three articles.
The first article is by John Jewell and was published in a Parish Magazine in 1972 and concerns the Cliffe House Academy.
The second is a cutting from a newspaper dated 29 November 1974 and is entitled ‘Misbehaviour meant a spell locked in cupboard for some college boys’ and concerns the various punishments received by the boys at the school.
The third is a short typed piece about Mrs Cripps of the Cliffe Hotel and the school she ran for girls at Westcliffe Farm taken from Col. Cavenagh’s papers p.7.
