St Margaret's Bay from Ness Point. 1920s
The cliffs at the north end of the Bay shown clearly in sunshine and shadow. On the beach, the buildings on the right are The Bay Hotel with the privatised Coastguard cottages in front and the converted boat house now called The Bay Bungalow.
On the cliff top, the Dover Patrol Memorial stands out in the setting sun, and to the right of that may well be the Coastguard Station at Leathercote Point. The properties at the end of Granville Road are very prominent without the surrounding vegetation that encloses them now. Dated 1920’s
