Three photographs looking north east towards the Dover Patrol Memorial. The cliff top blockhouse was where Peter Ustinov was billeted during the war and which he later bought as a weekend retreat. Being closest to the French coast, he used to regard himself as part of Frontline Britain!
Behind the Dover Patrol Memorial can be seen radar aerials erected during the cold war with Russia.
The cartoon was specially drawn by Denis Walbey in 2001 and presented to Peter Ustinov when he officially opened the new St Margaret’s Halll.
