White Cliffs, the house at East Cliff end of St Margaret's Bay lived in by Noel Coward.
View of White Cliffs formerly Kay’s Bluff which Noel Coward leased from the Hon Kay Norton in 1945 after his own country house in Kent, Goldenhurst on Romney Marsh had been requisitioned by the Army.
Coward used this as a weekend and holiday home and made extensive repairs to the house which had been damaged by the army using the beach as a training ground in the Second World War.
Coward entertained numerous famous visitors here including Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracey.
