5 handwritten letters from Mrs R Emden owner of “The Homestead” (sometimes called the annexe to the Granville Hotel. In the first letter to Worsfolds, she gives 6 months notice and points out that the property was leased for use by Mr Joyce and ‘not for business purposes’ (June 21st). Subsequent letters to Emmerson Brown and Brown and the Executors of the Joyce Estate give 6 months notice (June 22nd)
A letter to Emmerson Brown and Brown June 27th notes that she now wants to sell the property. and a final letter to E, B and B of July 4th 1911 asks for £1500 for the property.
