Letter of thanks from the Kent War Agricultural Executive Committee to Gilbert Mitchell. 1945
A photocopy of a letter from L Doubleday expressing the thanks of the Kent War Agricultural Executive Committee and it’s chairman, Lord Cornwallis, for all his efforts in farming under difficulties. It appears from a newspaper report that Mr Mitchell was the district officer for the committee during the war (see Gilbert Mitchells Obituary). The same press cutting states that Mr Mitchell bought Reach Court Farm after the war. 18 October 1945
