In the family vault / beneath this stone are deposited / the remains of JANE the daughter / of Kingsford and Mary WOOD / She died 11th of October 1791 aged 8 years / Also of the said KINGSFORD WOOD / who died the 31st May 1803 aged 63 years / In youth, in manhood and until his end / He was the widows wealth, the orphans friend / Reader like him good works with faith unite / Then thou mayst say I’ve fought a glorious fight /
Also of JOHN WOOD son of the above / who died 14th June 1805 aged 26 years / Also of JAMES WOOD brother of the last mentioned / who died 2nd December 1806 aged 33 years / Also of MARY wife of Thos Kingsford WOOD / who died 10th December 1815 aged 53 years / Also of Mary wife of Kingsford WOOD /who died 24th August 1825 aged 83 years / Also of the said THOS KINGSFORD WOOD / who died the 5th September 1845 aged 78 years / Also of Elizabeth relict of the above James Wood / who died the 23rd June 1852 aged 78 years / Also of Maria relict of the above Thos Kingsford Wood / who died 26th Dember 1853 aged 63 years /
This large marble memorial plaque may be found on the north wall of the chancel of St Margaret of Antioch church.
