A copy of a report about a lecture on the ‘Case’ system of coastal protection and how it could be used in St Margaret’s Bay. There is a handwritten date of August 1901.
At this time it was claimed the beach was eroding by 10ft a year due to the effect of the building of the new Dover Harbour
