Sackville Map c.1876 (Part) Railway Line Options
One of three Sackville maps of St Margaret’s.
This is the main part of an 1876 OS Map on which are drawn in red three possible routes for a railway running into the village from the Dover-Deal line.
The front cover of the map bears the Arthur Cecil Sackville Bookplate and crest.
Cecil Sackville owned The Hermitage (later South Sands House) from 1889
