High Street with church steps and Carrier's Arms. postmark 1904
This Victoria Series, black and white postcard numbered 998, by J Davis of 24 Queen Victoria Street, London, E C, depicts a busy scene in the High Street with carts parked appropriately outside the Carriers Arms and pedestrians walking to and fro.
The white building in the centre distanced is signed ‘E Robinson’. The card is postmarked St. Margaret’s at Cliffe 8.30pm 9 September 1904.
