St Margaret's Dairy in the 1950's
Typed memories by Michael Clarke about his family Dairy business in Sea Street (in the house now called ‘The Dutch Oven’).
They supplied milk and made their own ice cream and had their own branded bottles. the business was previously known as ‘The Creamery’ and purchased by Clarke in the early 1950’s selling it in 1959. It closed in the mid to late 1960’s.
The photo is of the St Margaret’s Dairy with hanging sign and the two dairy milk floats and delivery van parked outside. C1950’s
