St Margaret's Bay Hotel and the cliffs. c1900
Two almost identical versions of the same photograph.
One is a photocopy of a black and white representation of the Bay Hotel with a lady walking in the foreground. It has ‘St Margaret’s Bay & Cliffs’ typed across the left hand bottom corner giving rise to the belief that this was a postcard image. It also bears a number 1479.
The second version has ‘St Margaret’s Bay and Cliffs’ typed across the top right hand corner and the number1670, which also implies it was used as a postcard.
