These photographs taken in 1986 show the interior of some of the domestic buildings situated along Lighthouse Road and used by the South Foreland Battery during WW 2.

One of the photographs also shows the entrance to one of the deep shelters which were used for sleeping quarters as well as for shelter from aerial and long range gun bombardment.
