Tommie and Mary Denoon Undated c. 1950
Taken from the Gordon Denoon album two photographs of Gordon’s wife, Tommie, and one of his daughters, Mary, taken on the cliff top near Leathercote Point, St Margaret’s Bay.
The first photograph was captioned ‘What was the joke? Tommie and Mary almost out of control’
The second photograph was captioned ‘Mary and Tommie in repose’. In the background is the wartime radar installation appearing between the Coastguard building and the Dover Patrol Memorial.
Both photographs undated but probably taken at the same time and probably just after the end of WW2
