Vessels aground. early 20th c
Three photographs of vessels aground. There is no confirmation that they are in or near St Margaret’s Bay.
One is the Hamburgsund, built in Gothenburg in 1904.
The second is the Noris, (ex Bostad), unusually for a motor vessel, this was built with a wooden hull at Grimstad in 1902. She was eventually torpedoed and sunk in 1917.
And finally, the sailing vessel broadside on to the beach is a barquentine, name unknown.
