War damaged village on the beach. c1945
Poor quality copy of a black and white photograph of the extensively damaged buildings on the Bay. The Green Man (now The Coastguard) is on the left. The Adcock Villas are in the centre.
The damage was caused when the beach area was used as a ‘Battle School’ by the British Army during the World War 2.
