Local villager Carol is our expert house historian, combing through over 30 different historical sources to track down the history of houses in the village and the lives of their often-surprising occupants. Some of her work on ‘Cliffe Place’ in the Station Road dip, ‘Hillside’ in Granville Road and ‘Holly Lodge’ in the centre of the village can already be seen on this village archive site under the ‘Places’ tab. In this talk Carol is going to share with you her secrets on how you can do your own house research. Bring a pen and paper!
